1969 Princess Danice Gomien
Danice Gomien, an art history major at Syracuse University in New York, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Gomien who were active members of the Illinois State Society of Washington, DC and top aides to Sen. Everett M. Dirksen. Sen. Dirksen is shown crowning Danice in March 1969. Her reception was held at the Thai Embassy.
