1992 Princess Barbara Blake was a high school senior from Peoria. She was escorted to the Cherry Blossom Ball by the son of Gov. and Mrs. Jim Edgar. Her grandfather was Col. William Blake, president of the society in 1964-1965 and her grandmother was Virginia Blake, president of the society in 1976-1977.
