1956 Princess Barbara Ann Reed
Barbara Ann Reed was the daughter of Congressman and Mrs. William Chauncey Reed of Du Page County, Illinois. Rep Reed served in the House from January of 1935 until he died suddenly in February 1956 after 21 years of service. He died only two months before Barbara Ann represented the Illinois State Society in the 1956 National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC.
